Turkish Borek

Ingredients:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 cup water (add more if too dry)
- 5-7 cups of canola oil (depending on container size)
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour salt, water and vinegar.
2. Knead the dough about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
3. Place dough in a bag for at least an hour in the fridge, I like to leave it overnight.
4. Make equal parts of dough balls about 100g each.
5. Fill up a deep square pan with the canola oil and submerge the dough balls completely, not too close together or they will stick.
Let them rest for about 2-3 hours.
6. Roll out each dough ball into a thin sheet.
8. Use the dough to make your desired borek recipe, whether it's layered or filled with ingredients like cheese, spinach, or meat.
9. Bake your borek at 450F for about 30-45 minutes until golden brown.
Flip the borek for an extra 10 minutes for full crispiness
10. Serve with hard boiled eggs and pickles
